Fine Art Photography & Artistic Portraiture

The body is not a product. It is biography, presence and memory. My fine art photography and artistic portraiture create a protected, author-led space for identity, personal narrative and visual research.

A private image-making process

The session is built around consent, boundaries and a shared understanding of what the photographs should hold. Nothing is assumed. The degree of exposure, mood, authorship and final use are discussed before the camera becomes relevant.

My artistic practice has approached the body through projects about natural beauty, cancer recovery, womanhood, fatherhood, sacred touch and the relationship between vulnerability and dignity. That history informs the care of each private commission.

How the space is held

01

Conversation

We discuss the personal meaning of the project, boundaries, privacy and the visual direction.

02

Environment

The studio or location is prepared so that light, temperature, pace and the number of people present support safety and concentration.

03

Image-making

Direction is clear but never forceful. The body is treated as part of a human story, not as an object.

04

Privacy and selection

Images are selected together. Publication never follows automatically; usage remains governed by the agreed consent.

Use

The work may take different forms

  • Fine art portrait
  • Artistic nude and body study
  • Private personal series
  • Recovery and transformation narrative
  • Editorial or exhibition collaboration
  • Book and interdisciplinary project

A personal project begins with trust and a clear boundary, not with a pose.
