Is this a one-off shoot or can we work together over time?
It can be a one-off shoot. If you need portraits for several leaders, images for several channels or a library that stays current, we can also work together over time. We begin with what you genuinely need.
Portraits & preparation
Who is a leadership portrait for?
For founders, leaders, consultants, experts and anyone a client is likely to meet in a photograph before meeting in person.
What is the difference between a headshot and a leadership portrait?
A headshot shows clearly who you are. A leadership portrait says more about your personality, your role and the way you want to meet the world.
How should I prepare for the session?
You receive practical guidance on wardrobe, grooming, image goals and intended usage before the session.
Can you help with posing?
Yes. Direction is calm and precise, with attention to posture, expression, hands and the way the image will be used.
Production & locations
Do you work on location?
Yes. Sessions can take place in the Vienna or Budapest studio, at your office, at an event venue or at another agreed location.
Can you provide styling, hair and make-up?
Yes. A stylist, hair professional and make-up artist can be arranged when the project benefits from them.
Can several people be photographed in one production?
Yes. Executive teams, boards, founders and departments can be photographed with a consistent visual system.
Can you provide more than one photographer?
Yes. Larger productions and C-level events can be covered by a coordinated multi-photographer team.
Retouching, delivery & files
Is on-site immediate retouching available?
Yes. For selected executive, event and press productions, images can be selected, professionally retouched and delivered on location during the assignment.
Can you deliver print-ready files?
Yes. On request, final images are delivered in print-ready resolution and colour profile, alongside web-optimised versions for digital use.
How are the final images selected?
Selection can be guided together during or after the session, depending on the production format.
How quickly are images delivered?
Delivery timing is defined in the written offer. Accelerated and same-day workflows can be arranged for selected projects.
Brand, events & artistic commissions
What does visual brand positioning include?
It aligns image language, portrait style, visual hierarchy and usage across website, LinkedIn, press, campaigns and institutional communication.
Do you photograph C-level events?
Yes. Executive meetings, conferences, leadership events, award ceremonies and high-level institutional occasions are documented discreetly.
Is fine-art or intimate photography possible?
Yes, only within a respectful artistic framework, with clear consent, privacy and boundaries agreed in advance.
Pricing, rights & administration
Is the calculated price final?
No. It is a non-binding preliminary estimate. The final written offer depends on scope, location, timing, usage rights, production complexity and tax status.
How are usage rights handled?
Usage rights depend on the project, media, duration and territory and are confirmed in the written offer.
Do you support EU reverse charge?
Yes. Eligible EU businesses outside Austria may receive a reverse-charge estimate after business and VAT details are provided and verified.
What happens to my images under GDPR?
Images and personal data are handled confidentially and only for the agreed purpose. Publication takes place only with permission.

Do you photograph actors, dancers and performing artists?
Yes. BANHALMI creates actor headshots and acting portfolios, dance and movement photography, performing-artist portfolios, model/editorial portfolios and character-led artistic portraits in Vienna and Budapest.
What should an actor portfolio or casting headshot communicate?
The priority is recognisability, character and casting relevance. We plan neutral, direct headshots alongside selected character or editorial portraits so the portfolio shows range without disguising the person.
How is dance photography different from a standard portrait session?
Dance photography is planned around movement, line, timing and physical control. More time is usually recommended for warm-up, repeated movement, full-body frames, wardrobe changes and a separate portrait/editorial set.
Can professional hair, make-up and styling be arranged?
Yes. Hair, make-up and styling can be added through trusted production partners. They are quoted separately because the exact cost depends on the creative direction, preparation time and the selected professional.
Can an artistic or performing-artist session be bought as a gift?
Yes. A session can be arranged as a birthday, graduation or career-start gift. The creative direction is then finalised directly with the person being photographed so the result remains personal and professionally useful.
Which quote option should an actor, dancer or model choose?
Choose Fine Art / Artists & Performers in the quote system. The preliminary estimate uses the artistic-production route; the final written proposal is then adjusted to the required headshots, portfolio variety, movement, styling, retouching and production scope.
